Land for sale silver coast Portugal
Land for sale silver coast Portugal - As expats ourselves we have already been through the process and we know how difficult it can be to get access to these local agencies. By working with so many different agents we can offer you a huge selection of properties often which are just on the market and haven't yet reached the other websites. Of course this helps you find great properties at the right prices and helps the local agents too! So send us your enquiry and we'll search through all our agency partners for you saving you time, energy & effort. We are now living in the seaside resort of FOZ DO ARELHO near OBIDOS LAGOON which is an hour north of LISBON international airport and 2 hours south of PORTO airport. This (until recently) undiscovered investment-area is on the atlantic west part of Portugal (just imagine west partScottish/ Irish beaches but with lots more sun!).
Land for sale silver coast Portugal - Thanks to recent TV programmes and now Channel 4's interest in central the country it is becoming well known as a great place to invest. With property prices about 10 years behind the Costa Del Sol or the Algarve and tax laws very similar to the UK it's smart to INVEST IN PROPERTY. The purpose of our service is to search a property which meets your requirements with our local knowledge and contacts. Having lived in the country some time we recognize that everything functions differently to the UK.
With our insights we are able to help smooth the process of buying the property.
The area - our local towns:
Caldas da Rainha.
Every day Caldas da Rainha has a lively bustling market in the town square. Return to the old world of the freshest local and regional produce including vegetables, fruit, nuts, cheese, chickens, flowers, sausages and fresh-baked cakes. The cobbled side streets are excellent clothes shopping with branches of Mango and Etxart & Panno and other well-known retailers. There are dozens of shoe, sports, lingerie, kids, casual and perfume shops and an excellent cinema with new-release films in english shown at the same time as the UK. 1 hour north of Lisbon
Óbidos..
Considered to be one of the jewels of the country's national heritage, Óbidos was once the favourite retreat of King Sancho I and was a wedding gift from King Diniz to Queen Isabel. Its unspoilt beauty is retained in its narrow cobbled streets and elegant whitewashed buildings with balconies brimming with flowers. Óbidos has dozens of restaurants, bars and cafes as well as open air opera in the old town square, music festivals and our favourites, the medieval feasts and the chocolate festival! 5 mins southwest of Caldas da Rainha.
Foz Do Arelho..
Sitting at the edge of the beautiful turquoise 'Obidos' lagoon this quaint fishing village still has all the traditional fishermen in their flat-bottomed boats and their catch of prawn, clams and crabs are sold in the local restaurants. Although it is now a protected natural heritage site there are all still all the water-based leisure facilities you could wish as well as surf bars, beach bars, night clubs. Foz do Arelho has long been the wealthy Lisbon persons choice and their 'weekend' houses around the lagoon certainly live up to that reputation. Building is now quite restrictive to protect the nature of the lagoon. 5mins northwest of Caldas da Rainha.
